Default Terminal types

Figured I'd make the first post in this forum since I was the one that requested it.

What is your preferred terminal type

I'm personally a fan of the Nurit line.

Those are nice - never seemed to find a difference between that and the Omni 3750 though, except the price tag

I know, right? Is the 3750 Dual Ports? I never got my hands on one to compare the two, yet they look identical.

Yup, the Omni 3750 has a dual comm option - maybe the VX570 is an updated PCI compliant version? No clue.

TASQ's pricing for the 3750 is about $200 cheaper than the VX570 though.

Default ingenico

I love ingenicos the ingenico aqua and 5100.

and yea i heard of gilbraco. i did a station that had the system their security mod. are expensive but overall it was ok for pay at the pumps.

well the vx570 can come dail or dual com. and they are basicly a 3750 but have pci complaince. I would rather do an ingenico 5100 they are pci compliant and are dual com. for less money than a vx570 dail. also the quality is the same as the vx570. the newly introduced aqua is a great inexpensive machine that i use instead of nurit 2085 or t7p or vx510. the pricing and quality is very good. the other thiing that i like about ingenico is that i can actually call and talk to someone. every time i have call verifone you get the run around.

The only problem with Ingenico terminals is they are usually Class B rather than Class A certified most times.
